Why I choose white for Sunday. White is plain, nothing interesting, nothing exciting. Yesterday, we enrolled Alyssa in the Nursery at Carpe Diem. The place looks pretty cool with a big wooden play house and a gym. The Drama Centre which is actually a place where the kids can play and pretend has quite a number of those kiddy cars. I think if I were a kid I would be very excited too. Alyssa was so excited when she saw the house and the little cars. Anyway, she has been bugging us for months to go to school, finally we have decided to let her try it out and at least occupy her time. I did tried homeschooling abit, but without success, partly due to the lack of discipline on my part and partly she prefers to do whatever she likes. Hope she will enjoy school, seems like the school has alot of fun activities.
Alexis had her injection yesterday, not the 18month one but the 15 month MMI. Guess it slip my mind and so poor Alexis got to take MMI then next month her DPT booster. She was crying so pitifully after the injection, she was crying for almost 3 minutes and looks like will continue on until mommie (that is me) has the brilliant idea of taking out her Handphone and let her play. Immediately that stops her cry and she was too busy punching the buttons to be of notice of her pain. Seems like kids nowadays get interested in gadgets at a very young age.
Feel tired, as usual when the kids are around. This morning the kids woke up and immediately fight over the mineral water bottle. I cant explain the rational behind that fight. Anyway it just proves that anything useless like the mineral water bottle should be thrown away before it create more strife between the sisters and of course more noise for me. ok i better let them watch "barney" before they kill each other haha.

Wondering why blue is always used to describe sadness. Blue is such a cool colour. Cool should imply passiveness, unemotional and phlematic. I think that's how everything in live is. It is counter balanced, Good vs Bad, Calm vs Violence, Peace vs War, Life vs Death, Gain vs Lose...and the list goes on. I would like to think that the people are still good inside, not really like what the movies depict where the villians are really evil. I like to think that those are just exaggeration and fantasy on the part of the script writer. Probably its because I was very lucky and largely sheltered from all these problems. I hate to imagine why people would be so cruel to another.
I want my daughters to be happy and carefree as long as possible. But I refuse to shelter them from the possible evils of the world. They have to know how to defend and protect themselves but then I want them to also realise that the beauty of the world is more prominant than the evils. I do not believe the words evil will not prevail because I think they are balanced. I only think that conscience is the only key to all the goodness. Well enuff of the pessimistic and gloomy stuff.
Alexis and Alyssa have woken up, now Alexis is sitting on my lap, looking smilingly at me once in a while. I just love to look at their smiles and hear their laughter. I thank God for these 2 little angels though sometimes in a blink of an eye they can turn into a Gremblin. But they warm up my hearts so much. I would love another baby in a few years time, hopefully a baby boy this time *smile* Looking at them growing, playing is just such a joy, life is so simple with them, no deception no lies (that will come later i guess hehe) . Through their eyes, everything is fun, through their eyes, I see things in new prospective. I learn to appreciate beauty of our environment, things that I have sort of become immune to as I grow up. I think that's why so many ppl hope that they wont grow up.

It will be a busy day today with both the kids back in the house. This morning, they have already had a major row over Alexis touching Alyssa's stuff. Can't believe kids are so territorial. Got a big headache over what to eat for lunch. Luckily both the kids will be having porridge so at least I dun have to worry about them.
Finally uploaded some of Alyssa's photos on the web. Alyssa thought some of her new born photos are photos of Alexis! Alyssa is so curious and wanted to go through all her baby photos. Come to think of it, time really flies. While they are growing up every day, the parents are also growing, old i mean. Wonderful thought, but I like to think that I am growing up graciously hehe.

Tried to make a nice blog page, starting from 8+ this morning and yet without much progress. However, this is something quite interesting. Will perservere and try to get something going over the week.
Got to send Alyssa to mom's place later in the noon before going for tutoring assignment. Wonder how's Alexis doing today. Mom called to let me know that she tried wearing a long pants on her own, though she din manage to pull the pants all the way up to her little bum but that is quite a accomplishment for a 18 month baby. The most recent word she has acquired is "Bao" which is bun in chinese. Seems like most of her vocabulary revolves around food. What to expect from a little greedy baby who always seem to have an apetite for anything we eat.
Alyssa is now playing with her doll house. The study room is a mess as usual when the kid/ kids are around. But at least she is playing on her own and not pestering me to play with her all the time. Have to go make lunch, get Alyssa to finish her food, dress her and myself and off we will go. Will be a long day today, tution only finishes at 7 tonight. I think most probably I will bring Alexis back tonight as well, one day earlier for a long weekend.
